In Buryatia, routes are being developed for helicopter tours around national parks
Negotiations are being held with airlines
Specialists in the field of tourism and ecology are developing routes for helicopter tours in the national parks in Buryatia. This was reported to TACC on Tuesday at the Eastern Economic Forum by the Minister of Tourism of the Republic Aldar Dorzhiev. – The Ministry of Tourism of Buryatia conducted a trial helicopter tour [in December 2021], which aroused high interest from tour operators and representatives of national parks in the republic.
At the moment, negotiations are underway with airlines, the creation of routes in national parks, as well as the search for such landing sites for helicopters, in which we cannot harm nature and do not care for rare animals, the minister said.
Earlier at the WEF, the head of the Ministry of Development of Russia, Alexey Chekynkov, said that the possibility of creating a single tourist helicopter operator was being discussed in the Far East. He noted that there was a conversation with Helicopters of Russia, there is readiness from the side of the holding.
